Saturday flying

Saturday was a very windy day. I took my first higher flight with my falcon hangy. It was definetly different from my paraglider. Blaine actually soared the training hill (kuna butte). After that we went to  Melba. Melba had a healthy dose of wind. It was 25-35 on the lip. It was gusting to 45mph. Wayne and Chris also showed up. They all flew and had some good flights. Blaine and Wayne both got to ride the wave out front caused by the butte. At 5:30 pm the wind was still 20 on the lip.

saturday flying

Blaine, Chuck, and me all went out to Melba saturday. We met a fellow pilot coming out as we went in. It was good to see the pilot. Hope the kid and wife are doing good.

I ended up getting 3 flights. Chuck got a good one in and Blaine also got his feet off the ground. To all pilots please do not modify the site in any way shape or form. Don’t bring out anything and leave it.

Swan on Saturday

We flew the South East face of Swan Falls on Saturday. The launch can be pretty scary. You run right off a cliff. The flying was good. I got two flights in and flew for around 45min. The rest of the guys got about the same. It was a good day. Hopefully I can get Blaine in the air with his hangy. At least get him into a paraglider…….(hint…….hint……hint)
