Pickle Butte

Pickle Butte was a little funky today. The thermals really never formed. It was pretty punchy to say the least. I got two flights in my paraglider and one flight in with my hangy. Blaine got to fly his new ramair. I got another misc picture of chuck. Nothing like waiting for the wind to come down. Congrats to chris for taking his first flight in his paraglider….. Way to go! I was a sweet day…….

Swan Falls in August

This weekend was really a bizare weekend. We had a couple of days were it rained. This in turn dropped the temperature to the 70-80s. This made Swan Falls work really well on Saturday. When it warms up then Swan gets to rough. Saturday Blaine, and Wayne got to fly there hangies at Swan. It was blowing around 20-25mph on the lip. Wayne I know got a couple hours in. Later that night it mellowed out and 6 of us paragliders got to spend a little time in the seat. I got around a hour and a half. It was a classic glassoff fall day at swan. The lift was good and smooth. I got to take a tour of the place. The ridge is around 2 miles long. Scot also flew his swoop for a little bit as well. Over all it was a really good day !!

summertime flying at the crowe

Chuck and I met Jennifer and Randy out at the crowe the other day to do some flying. The conditions were rough to say the least. I took a 50% collapse 50 off the hill. Chuck took a ride on one of his launches. Scares and road rash are cool! Blaine got another Ramair hanglider at the nationals. It sure is a pretty wing. Here are two of my own RC airplane designs. One is a 2meter glider that I call the Boisehawk. It has ailerons, elev, rudder, motor, spoilers.  The little airplane has a wingspan of 18 inchs. It is a fully 4 channell aerobatic electric airplane. It weighs less then 3 ozs.
