Everything Paragliding in Idaho

I tried to fly barclay bay today. It was really cross out of the northeast. I launched and was climbing out nice. I made a turn to go back into the wind and realized I was flying backwards. I hate it when that happens. Maybe next time…..

It was a good day at pickle on saturday. The wind was a blowing and the hangies and paragliders were out. We had 4 hangies and 4 paragliders out. I had a really smooth 30 min flight on my hangy. It was a real good day. Welcome to the valley Lee. You had a really sweet flight. Thanks to Pete and Wayne for the wire off.

Bruce and I had some real sweet flights at melba ridge yesterday. I got (3) 20 minute flights in my paraglider. The lift was smooth and good. It was pretty cold with the windchill. It was a good day to fly cow poop thermals and freeze your hands and feet. The ear to ear grin was well worth it.

Swan had some good flying last saturday. I thermalled out in my paraglider to 1200ft over. I left a 300ft/min thermal to go land and fly my hangy. I was the first to go off the new hangy launch ramp. It was a sweet hangy flight as well. There were alot of para pilots as well as 3 hangy pilots out. It was a very good day for flying…. It was nice to fly with so many pilots.

The Swan Falls flying season is here. I also went and checked out barclay bay. It looks like my winter lunch hour flying spot is ready to be flown…… SWEET!
